A special thank you to Mrs. Kearney for helping with our door display for the book fair. We have the opportunity to win free books for our class through the decorating contest! The theme this year is luau.
Our class will shop on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00-2:30. Please make sure to send in your child's shopping money in a Ziploc bag with their name on it. Feel free to come up and help them shop during their time. Also, make sure to join us for family night on Thursday from 6-8pm.
On Friday, your child brought home information about their ThinkShow project. The whole school is going to use the centennial theme again. Our class had the 50s, so that is the time period we will focus on. Your child has been assigned a specific topic from that time. They will do research at home to answer some questions about their topic. They will use that information to write a narrative in class. In addition, your child will create an artifact at home. Your child can create a PowerPoint, poster, book, mobile, album cover, brochure, advertisement, or game. The research and artifact are due on February 21st. Remember, there is no school on the 20th.
Our book count is up to 76!!!!! Happy Reading!!!
